The Career Conversion Programme (CCP) lets Singapore employers bring in someone from a different background and reskill them on the job, while WSG funds a large slice of their salary. Most guides just explain the grant. We do one better — we find you the person, then help structure the hire so it qualifies.
Enter the monthly salary you’d offer. We’ll estimate how much WSG covers, and what the hire actually costs you during the reskilling period.
Standard = up to 70% (cap $4,000). Enhanced = up to 90% (cap $6,000) for Singaporeans aged 40+ or unemployed 6 months or more.
Estimate only, for illustration. Actual support depends on WSG approval, the role, the training plan and the individual’s profile. Figures based on current published CCP rates — we confirm exact terms with you before any commitment.
CCP helps you build the team you can’t hire off-the-shelf — by funding the gap while a capable person learns the role. There are two routes, and the first is where a recruiter matters most.
You bring in a mid-career hire from outside — often from an adjacent industry — and train them into the role on the job. This is the route we run: we source and vet the candidate, you get the salary support. Ideal when the perfect “ready-made” hire doesn’t exist in the market.
Recruiter-led · we find the personExisting staff are retrained for a redesigned or higher-value role as your business shifts. No new hire needed — the support offsets the reskilling of your current team. We can advise on structuring this, though it sits inside your own workforce.

Figures reflect current published CCP rates and are administered by WSG (transitioning to the new SWDA agency). Exact caps, duration and eligibility are confirmed at application.
Grant consultants and HR-software sites can tell you how CCP works. None of them can put a vetted, capable candidate in front of you — that’s the hard part, and it’s our actual job. We handle both sides: find the right mid-career hire, and structure the role so the support goes through cleanly.
Registered and operating in Singapore
Able to offer a full-time role with structured on-the-job training
Committed to work with WSG (or its appointed partner) on the paperwork
Singapore Citizen or PR, mid-career
Moving into a role that’s new to them (skills conversion)
For enhanced support: aged 40+, or unemployed 6 months or longer
We work out whether CCP fits and what a trainable candidate looks like for it.
You meet only mid-career people we’d genuinely vouch for — screened for aptitude, not keywords.
We help put together the role and training plan, and submit the application before any offer is signed.
They come on board, you train them on the job, and the salary support offsets the cost through the period.
Up to 70% of monthly salary (capped at $4,000/month) for a standard mid-career hire, and up to 90% (capped at $6,000/month) if they’re a Singaporean aged 40 and above or have been unemployed for six months or longer. Training costs can be subsidised up to 90% on top.
Both. “Place-and-Train” is for a new external hire — that’s where we come in, sourcing and vetting the candidate. “Job Redesign Reskilling” is for retraining people you already employ into a redesigned role.
They should be a Singapore Citizen or PR moving into a role that’s genuinely new to them — CCP is designed for career switchers. They don’t need prior experience in the field; that’s the point of the reskilling.
A consultant helps with the application. We find you the person first — a vetted, capable mid-career candidate — and then help structure the hire so it qualifies. Recruiting is the hard part; the grant makes it cheaper. See our full hiring-grants hub for the other schemes.
Our recruiting works on a success-fee basis — you only pay when you hire. We agree the terms clearly upfront, and the CCP salary support offsets a large part of the new hire’s cost during reskilling. Benchmark a package against our Singapore Salary Guide.
Tell us the role you’re struggling to fill. We’ll find a mid-career hire worth training, and see if CCP can cover up to 70% of their salary while they get up to speed.
